let's talk some more about bible study.

You ask. I answer. Or so we pretend the story goes.

#ThomasHouse2014 was growing old and tiresome on me. Guess I'm not cut out to be a DIY blogger. And, truth be told, I'm all good with that fact. But, I enjoyed the discipline of a weekly series. So, after a few emails, some Instagram comments, and lots of thinking about my purpose behind this space, it became clear: bible study.

We're all struggling with it. Wondering how to get better, be more invested, turn truth to application. What better way to work through all this goodness than together? Consider yourself welcomed.

Links and Things

So what does it all mean? It means on Fridays I'll be here, sitting at the dinner table, talking your ear off for five to six minutes. I'll be sharing my heart for God's word, answering your questions, and, quite possibly, leading a study with you pretty little things. How's that sound?

Thanks for letting me talk ridiculously fast about a WHOLE lot of things. Thanks for having sweetness in your hearts and souls. Thanks for entertaining the idea of growing in Him together.

And finally, my tools of the trade:

highlighters || bible || pens || journal || devotional || coffee

Finally, questions babes.
Share them below. Tweet them to me. Drop one on IG
Or, of course, feel free to email

  2. You know I don't do Bible study, well, because I just can't figure out how to get started. And now, thanks to this series I will start.

    So great, so, so, great.

  3. I love love love this!! I might be a day late or so on the listen-in (unless it gets posted previous to 8:30am and I can listen in on my ride to work!), but I'm SO in on this. I tried to start a devotional and begin reading the KJV (not set on that version) at the beginning of the year and I just failed miserably. With no one to talk to about it and not really being able to understand a lot of it, I quit. But I'm in for this!

  5. Side note: I've been following you on instagram for a little while now but I hadn't been able to devote much time lately to following up adding blogs to my Bloglovin. I just caught up a bit, and I discovered we have a lot in common: I'm also married to a Jason Thomas who is blonde! Haha. So I guess that's only one thing, but I thought that was a fun fact, haha. Glad I took the time to stop by!

  13. I HAVE NO CLUE. You should have seen how thrilled I was when I thought to make it more than just a How To... And, quite thankfully, He seems to be pulling the logistics together for me so effortlessly.

  17. Girl, KJV is hard. I struggle with NIV sometimes so I can't imagine trying to work desperately at loving language that can be so tough to get through... I'm so glad to have you join! :) There's just this feeling of impending wonderful-ness that makes me so excited for what's to come!

  22. This is so helpful. My health has stopped me from being able to go to church for far too long and I really miss the teaching. Having someone help and guide me with this as well as feeling like part of a group is fantastic. Thank you. God Blessx

  23. I have been looking to start another online bible study since Brittany at Happy is A Choice did hers. I so enjoyed that and it held me accountable for actually doing it. I would love to start another one to do with girls all over the country and meating new people!
